Sounds Like: With the release of Emerging in the Light, Heather Wiley celebrated her first CD release for the Musycke Productions label.“ I wanted to record a CD that was honest and inspirational and I wanted to have fun. As a new artist I hope to bring many emotions to the music, hopefully, through songs that offer hope.â€Heather began her career in music at an early age, and for the past several years has been a demo singer, and local performer who has had the privilege of working with such greats as Johnny Gimble, Asleep at the Wheel, and Ray Price.Heather’s high energy and exciting stage presence provide her audiences with an unforgettable experience. Her charisma and a vocal style that magically blends country and blues make Heather a dynamic performer.An aspiring songwriter, Heather co-wrote “The Hero Next to Me, a testament to the inherent heroism of the common man.“For the most part, I think of myself as always learning. I’ve been singing for years, but there is always a new experience around the corner in the music business. In recording Emerging in the Light there was such energy and excitement…I never want to lose that feeling.â€Heather's newest project takes her from the inspirational arena to a songwriting stance. "I feel that the time has come for me to take my own path and rely on myself as far as musical infulence. I am currently writing and everyday I think of new ideas and creative songs. I will be going into the studio soon to record the new tracks and its very exciting."
