About Me

Our Mission

Dog Pack Rescue Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill dog shelter, cat sanctuary and animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue of adoptable companion dogs in order to prevent needless euthanasia of these healthy animals. We rescue dogs and cats from high kill animal control facilities in the Northwest Georgia area.
Dog Pack Rescue is a place of happiness, joy and love. Everything we do is in the best interest of the dogs, and cats. There are no cages. The dogs have big fields of grass and trees in which to run. We believe that dogs & cats, as living creatures, are entitled to a quality life with respect and compassion. Inasmuch as humans are responsible for having domesticated pets, we have a moral and ethical obligation to care for the animals, especially those we have domesticated who are abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise in need. We want to instill in our community an awareness of all the companion animals whose lives we share, to promote and encourage responsible dog ownership and to stress the importance of spaying/neutering of all companion animals.
The goal of Dog Pack Rescue is to create a refuge for companion animals providing a safe and loving environment until they are adopted.
Our goal is to reduce the number of companion animals euthanized in kill animal shelters in NW Georgia. We are Licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and we are a 501c3 Charitable Organization. (your donations are tax deductible)
