Sustainable Truth! Sustainable Truth! Sustainable Truth!..........Hello.We live in a time where the western world relies almost solely on fossil energy (oil), consumer brand products and look to fundamental government/religious institutions for intellectual and spiritiual direction(with the abuse of using brainwashing to maintain power over us and tyranny to falsely resolve problems and justify genocide and resource plunder.) ........................Reliance and addiction to television as an activity, consuming seasonable cheap trinkets and fashion,(even when fellow world citizens are left starving in the gutter)....has become a priority to the average consumer............................Throwing money at problems through large charity organisations continues to be a way to resolve guilt issues over our affluent lifestyles, but often is misleading and paved with corruption.(The money being made from the profits of cheap labour that maintains our western culture). We don't like battery hens much, but we do buy from big companies, that often enslave children to be competive in a capitilist market economy. (Hey ,it was a bargain right!) .. .......................We have cool bumpa stickers like "think globally, by acting locally., but often seem unable to grasp the meaning and how to make the change..............Oh, and we all love Jesus! (We had heaps of new people at church! I counted thirty-two new people on Sunday, but to be honest I like hanging with my friends so I didn't speak to any of them.)...............my brother and sisters, there is a much richer, deeper truth of the Gospels, that we all should walk the walk (while doing the talk!)..... So how about this for an idea, lets just say we harveted our own food instead of relying on big agro-companies that pollute and displace indigenous lands, (Jesus always taught over a meal!)....and maybe we shouldn't be counting the empty seats in the congregation (reaching out, well that's about real friendship and love)............Grow your own food, recycle and be active in grass roots movements for peace and social justice. Become independant of the machine, through being sustainable in your lifestyle...so that central government and organised religion can't dictate to you their own elite agenda and thereby leading you to make bad decision on ethic and morales (such war propaganda and fear projected through the media.) and most importantly, do it for the children of the world. So that they can grow up big and strong and say they had awesome ancestors who loved them even before they were born.........Love thy neighbour and turn the other cheek! .........If you are a Christian, you should know better, keep searching for God, it's more than just believing. We must turn our backs upon violence as an answer, no matter how righteous it may seem at the time. The world is running on lies, lies from people who claim a lot and deliver little. Don't confuse national pride with following Christ, they are not compatible. I am not so sure that material wealth as "prosperity" to the favoured by God. God is not interested in material junk, that is here today gone tommorow,( in God's eye we are probably here today and gone tommorow too!). He has provided us already with all we need, so why must we plunder resources and bully poor countries for our own comforts when the majority of the world miss out on even the basics.............Jesus says lay it all down for God and humanity. We cannot have our feet in two worlds..... Let go.....it's only takes a few steps...towards turning off the T.V!
