About Me


1983 Fabrizio founded Milan-based *Industria Superstudio , a 30.000 square-feet fully equipped complex of state-of-the art photography studios, and a restaurant: Ristorante Industria.
1991 he opened *Industria Superstudio Overseas in New York, a 50.000 square-feet complex of photographic studios which, together with Industria Superstudio in Milan, forms the largest studio complex in the world today.
From 1992 to 1998, Fabrizio created and designed the clothing line Industria.
1995 he opened *Monastero , a small and exclusive resort in the valley of Monastero on the island of Pantelleria.
Early in 1998, he established the non-profit Fondazione Industria and founded the Fabrizio Ferri School of Creativity and Synaesthetics (former “Universita’ dell’Immagine”) in Milano.
1999 he opened Industria Digital, in Milano and New York, a department of the Industria group, for the acquisition and post-production of digital photography.
2002, he opened Industria Musica. It is among the most advanced digital pre and post production recording studios in the world.
2004 with partner Jonathan Waxman, he opened the restaurant Barbuto in the meat packing district, NY.
2005, appointed as member of the board of the Aspen Institute Italia.
