Fotografo per vocazione e per lavoro. Intenzionato a rovinare la piazza alla folgorante triade Teller/Tillmans/Richardson adoro la maestosità e i colori di Annie Leibovitz e l’interiorità che esplode nelle intime forme e colori di Nan Goldin, il bianco e nero di Van Sant, Pasolini e Vlastimil Kula, il colore che diventa forma di Darius Khondji, l’arte di Goya, Schiele, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Hundertwasser e tutte le manifestazioni del genio sregolato che si impossessa dell’anima umana. Lo studio della storia dell’arte e del cinema mi ha portato alla fusione folle tra queste arti e la fotografia, che diventa il mio modo di essere e di vivere. Mi piace trovare la bellezza dove meno ti aspetteresti di trovarla, il lirismo dei bassifondi, la natura nomade ed anticonvenzionale dell’uomo che non si concede spazi circoscritti e la veridicità di ogni azione, anche se essa potrebbe non essere gradita, gli spazi urbani desolati e gli scenari immensi dove è ancora la natura a farla da padrona. La moda è un’espressione d’arte con cui mi piace confrontarmi, scardinandone spesso le classiche e consolidate basi estetiche e di forma che da anni hanno invaso le copertine dei magazines. Amo il cinema, specificatamente quello indipendente, interessandomi in prevalenza di regia e fotografia, la musica indie, il post-rock, l’elettronica, l’emo-rock e il jazz classico e contemporaneo, espressioni musicali pure ed intense che seguo da anni con l’intento di pubblicare un catalogo sui musicisti sul palco.

Photographer by vocation and for job, I would like to be a disturbing element for the flashing triade of Teller/Tillmans/Richardson I adore the greatness and colors of Annie Leibovitz and the intimacy exploding in the intimate shapes and colors of Nan Goldin, the black and white of Van Sant, Pasolini and Vlastimil Kula, the color that becomes shape of Darius Khondji, the art of Goya, Schiele, Caravaggio, Van Gogh, Hundertwasser, and all those genius manifestations that becomes part of the human spirit. The deep study of the history of art and cinema has carried me to a personal fusion between these aspects and photography, that becomes my way of being and of living. It appeals to me dicovering beauty where less you would expect to find it, gutter’s lyrism, the nomadic nature of man that does not grant circumscribed spaces and reality for every action, even if it not appreciated, city desolated spaces and immense landscapes where it is still the nature to make it from landlady. Fashion is that expression of art I like to confront with, often unhinging the solid, confirmed aesthetic and shape bases that have invaded the magazines covers since the 80’s. I love cinema, specifically the independent one, indie music, post-rock, electronic, emo-rock classic and contemporary jazz, all expressions that I have followed for years with the attempt of publishing a photo-catalogue concerning musicians on stage.
