I have been a professional singer/actress/dancer for many
years, playing leading roles on television, cinema and theatre, singing Big Band Jazz and touring with my own soul/rythm & blues group. I also work for the Danish company Sun Studios as a vocal/dialogue director/coach and translator, mostly lyrics, working on several films for Disney, Dreamworks, Fox Films etc.Now an exciting collaboration with the extremely talented jazz pianist /composer Tommy Berndtsson is taking form into a jazzalbum to be released in the fall (Gazelle Records).I was raised in London and Barbados by my
Father, a South American Jazzinstrumentalist (Saxophone, flute, trombone etc.) and Swedish mother with my brother and sister.
My brother Karl is particularly successful as an actor/dancer/choreographer, well known as one of the founders and visionaries of the popular street dance company "Bounce" recently blazing through Europe. My sister Barbara works hard as a veterinarian. She sings and plays the piano too...I guess she´s the smart one, she chose wisely! I also have two bright and brilliant younger half brothers, Dennis and Dexter. Time will show what the future has in store for them!
I now live in the heart of Stockholm (Old Town), Sweden but spend a lot of my time at my hidaway overlooking a beautiful lake just outside the core of the city.My voice can also be heard on a couple of international best selling albums such as Eagle-Eye Cherrys first two albums, featuring in "When Mermaids Cry" and with the very successful, internationally acclaimed Jazz Trombone Player, Nils Landgren. (including the recent platinum albums "Funky Abba" and "Christmas with my Friends" (ACT Company)
Except for a couple of Solo albums and singles in the late 1990´s I have mainly contributed as a guest on numerous compilations.
Until now...the jazz project "Another Angle" was released in November!
