Kristian Harborg

Harbo , Don Harbonese, DJ Harbostatic or simply Kristian Harborg. I'm 30 years old, I play the tenor saxophone and I recide in Stockholm although I'm originally from the deep south of Sweden. I mainly play with the KH 4 and A band called Hoffmaestro & Chraa but for the past three or four years I've been a regular sub in a couple of other bands. In october 2005 I released my first cd as a leader -Harbotastic- a live recording from Stockholm jazz spot Glenn Miller café. The cd got sweet reviews not only in Scandinavia but also in the US (Downbeat magazine amongst others). In march 2006 I received the swedish natonal broadcasting company SR:s award The Jazz Cat as newcomer of the year.Currently I'm working on some new tunes for our next recording.
