Born and raised in the polluted flatlands of Porto Marghera, an industrial city on the mainland of Venice, Italy.
Jazz and improvised music appeared in my life at age 11-12. Picked up the alto saxophone at age 20.
Musical studies and Degrees: '88-'90 Bachelor of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance at the Berklee College of Music, Boston. '93-'95 Master of Music Degree in Saxophone Performance at the Manhattan School of Music, NYC.
Mostly a baritone saxophonist, I own and perform on saxophones from the sopranino to the bass, Eb to contrabass clarinets and piccolo to bass flutes.
I'm the enormously proud father of two great children.
