About Me

I..m a keyboardplayer who was born i Östersund Jämtland in the north of Sweden but now lives in Norrkoping Sweden. I started to play the piano when I was 8 years old but I stopped taking lessons when I was 12. After high school I started to study music seriously and went to music college in Örebro Sweden between 1984-1988. After that I moved to Norrköping and here I have worked at the theater and been teaching in high school. 1992 I played with the lappisch rockband Lååvosj at the Roskilde festival (That band only made one live gig !!!) This autumn I recorded 5 songs for an album by Lars-Jonas Johansson called 'Soelege' where I together with my brother Mats created what is probably the hardest joijk (a lappisch way of singing) ever. Now I freelance as a musician and work as music theory teacher. In July 2007 I will be playing a festival in northern Norway with Lars-Jonas Johansson. I will try to put up some of my own new music here as soon as possible. If you like to hear me play you can check my brother Mats Karlssons MYSPACE where I play on a track called Megalo Seitani and the ARCANIA where I play on Heavy Metal is alive track. More info to come... Stay tuned....
