Tony JAZZ, originally from the Desirade Island (West Indies Caribbean).
"My music is a mother tongue; this is my way of expressing myself, of communicating."
During his childhood, he studied musical theory and choir at the National School of Music (Paris suburbs) for 8 years. He learned to play the piano, the flute, and the Ka' (traditional drum of the Caribbean).
In his adolescence, one of his teachers was Bertrand Auger, who can play several musical instruments, he is also an arranger, a composer, and he received the 1st prize of composition, arrangement, and orchestration of the « Quincy Jones » prize.
Tony Jazz taught himself several types of guitar : Classic, Folk, Electric, Dobro, Ukulele, and the slide…
He has performed regularly in concerts in Canada, France, the West Indies, Spain, Belgium and England (London), most notably with several of his friends one of which is John Simms, Larry Paul, Kinsha, Jenny B...
He also performs on stage with his band, The Fabulous: singing, guitar, bass, piano, hammond orgue, saxophone, steal pan, drums, cajon…
He left Europe in 2006 for Montreal, Canada, where he now resides. He wanted to pursue his career of producer and director.
In that same year, he created his own record lable Sweet Times Records, which is based in Montreal, NYC and Paris.
Tony Jazz composes and writes songs on demand on request for a variety of styles some of which are: Soul, Hip Hop, Caribbean Style, Jazz, Acoustic sessions, and Reggae
Tony has accompanied several artists with his guitar and voice in studio and on stage.
As well, he has made several appearances in a variety of forms from albums to live shows for a great number of diverse artists and producers representing many different styles of music.
"Music is for sharing, you must not have only one style ! However it is impossible to share, a good musician has to be able to play different style of music.
So, like his diverse background, his music is a mix.

Tony JAZZ est originaire de la Desirade, mer des Caraïbes.

Durant son enfance il va au Conservatoire National pendant 8 ans, pour suivre une formation classique où il apprend le solfège et la chorale. Les premiers instruments de musique de Tony Jazz ont été le piano, la flûte à bec et le Ka', qui est une percussion traditionnelle des Antilles.
À l'adolescence, il a eu comme professeur de jazz, Bertrand Auger arrangeur et compositeur, récipiendaire du premier Prix Quincy Jones de composition, arrangement et orchestration.
Il apprend en autodidacte toutes les catégories de guitare: classique, folk, électrique, dobro à résonateur, ukulele et la slide...
Il a fait régulièrement des concerts au Canada, en France, dans les Antilles (West Indies), en Espagne, en Belgique, à Londres, notamment avec plusieurs de ses amis, tel que John Simms, Larry Paul, Kinsha, Jenny B...
Et, il fait aussi ses concerts, avec ses musiciens, The Fabulous : chant, guitare, basse, piano, orgue hammond, saxophone, steal pan, percu, batterie, cajon...
Il a quitté l'Europe en 2006 pour s'installer à Montréal (Canada) afin de poursuivre sa carrière de producteur et réalisateur.
En 2006, il a créé son propre label de record et de composition, Sweet Times Records, basé à New York, à Montréal et à Paris.
Tony Jazz compose et écrit sur demande de ses pairs des styles de musiques tels que la Soul, Hip Hop, Carribean style, Jazz, Session Acoustique, Reggae
Tony accompagne plusieurs artistes à la guitare et au chant sur scene ou en studio.
Il fait divers apparitions sur des albums, compilations ou sur scènes pour divers artistes et productions.
