OUR MISSION
The Boston Youth Hip Hop Shop believes that an understanding of Hip Hop’s history, its ability to be a vehicle for social entrepreneurship and its cultural elements can empower youth to be confident and creative leaders of this world.
We believe that all people are endowed with the human right to an equitable education.
We believe that an equitable education validates and engages the cultural, social and political context that every child lives within.
The Boston Youth Hip Hop Shop will prove, promote and model to mainstream education ways that Hip Hop can and has empowered middle-school youth to be future oriented in their academic and career goals.
We will improve middle-school youth’s confidence and ability to express themselves. We will introduce and teach youth to master the skills necessary to be self-sufficient in a business environment.
We will instill the values of dependability, respect, professionalism and perseverance in the youth we serve.
OUR GOAL
is to offer Hip Hop’s history, elements and economics as a way to engage and empower youth to be positive, self-assured and autonomous members of their community.

Our students' semi-annual celebration of all our their learning from throughout the year. This year the event was held at Madison Park's historic Roland Hayes School of Music! Thanks to everyone who helped pull it off!
