Lyrical

Warning: Reading Lyrical's biography will leave you exhausted! In the last five years, Lyrical has performed in more New England shows than any other Hip Hop artist. On top of being just an emcee he finds time to function as a promoter and Boston area college professor, allowing him to travel to many different schools, colleges and events as a keynote speaker and performer.

As an adjunct professor at several area colleges he carefully selects courses he is able to fit into his schedule. He teaches multiple subjects based around event promotions and management, mathematics, entertainment and/or Hip Hop. At Lasell College he is part of two different departments teaching Event Planning Management in the fall and Event Entertainment and Production in the spring, along with Geometry in the spring semester as well.

His storied MC battle career includes numerous consecutive victories over the last few years, and several non-winning performances years earlier in world famous invite-only battles such as: The Battle for World Supremacy at the New Music Seminar in NYC (with Supernatural and Skillz), the Zulu Nation Battle -East Coast Finals (where he lost to Freestyle of the Arsonists), two Boston Superbowl Battles, and the BrainStorm Battle in Seatle. Lyrical credits these events as pivotal for much of his future success as an artist.

As a member of X-Caliber and Invasion - and now as a solo artist, he has published five 12 inch singles on vinyl and CD. He also released his solo debut album "iNFiNiTi" which included the singles THE FOCUZ IS BACK (6 weeks and a peak position of number 2 on the national college radio charts-summer 2006), and the successful flip side COME WITH ME featuring eNVY (charted number 8 a month later), and bonus tracks LYRICALLY RIPPIN' (featuring Rip Shop) and RAGS TA RICHES (featuring all of Invasion).

Lyrical is working on a new album to be released on 8/8/8 called "iNFiNiTi VERTiCAL" as a follow up to iNFiNiTi. He is part of the Mass Industry Committee, 617Live, Invasion Entertainment, and is a member of the Mayor of Boston's Hip Hop Round Table. He is currently finishing his graduate studies in Mathematics at UMass-Lowell and Harvard.
