About Me

Hi, i am Edwin (Eadvine is old english for Edwin). 25 years ago i started performing in bands as a guitar player and bassplayer.
Blue Star was the band I have the best memories of. We did a tour through the US, and played the 1993 edition of the SxSW festival in Austin Texas. Also had a single out in the US called "sometimes" with NoD Records.
In Holland we released the single "One in a Million" with Kelt Records
Ingrid van den Boogaard was the leadsinger/guitarist and songwriter of that band. She is also a lifetime friend.
She has her own site as an artist. Lots of things can be seen and listened there. In the music-section there are a couple of Blue Star songs you can download for free!
This is the link:

Today I have some collaborations through MySpace.
The song "Return to Silence Part 2" is an example of that. Virginia Splendore and Mr Ake play in that, as does Frans Haarmeijer (not on Myspace (yet)).
I worked on Splendores new soloCD; INNIG.
As a coproducer, technician and musician.
It's just been finished in August 2008.
There will be a notice when the CD is released.
Nowadays i also design and build electrical instruments. There are pictures of them in the "Pics" section.
Among my Topfriends you find the band ANALOG MISSIONARY.
On their space you find a Blog named QUINTAR.
CHECK IT OUT!
I hope to be able to show you more in the future.
Greetings from me, hope to see you soon.

My Quintar Series untill now
Visit at luthier Makassar's place with Virginia Splendore and VS1
Here a video from my daughter Pascale (14 years old).
It's a cover of the song "Beauty From Pain" from Superchick.
I played the whole band, Pascale sings (great!).
It's a pity that this clip is mono, the original recording is stereo.
In the musicplayer on the left side of my space, you can listen to it in stereo.
Sounds much better.

The second song is a sound sample of my 8 String Quintar which i build for Analog Missionary.
The song is called "Going East".
Most people don't know how the 8 string version of my quintars sounds like.
It is tuned differently than basses or guitars.
This sample has a bright sound. A warm sounding sample will follow.

The 3rd song is
Froggie Frog.
Recorded in 1990 on a 4 track recorder.

Song 4 is called AM1 vs VS1.
It's a soundsample of the Quintars AM1 and VS1 combined.
I played them both.

Song 5 is a cover of the song Beauty From Pain.
Pascale, my daughter (14 years old) loves to sing, and I recorded this song for her.
