About Me

I used to be the only Dj and one of the producers in Essence of Aura and used to run the hardcore and drum & bass record label Outstanding Records back in the early 90's along with James Mitton-Wade aka Carlito and Ian Scott from a back street studio in Coventry at the old rolls royce factory site now bulldozed and just a memory.Our first release though was on spooky tunes for DJ Phantasy in 92 a 2 tracker which kicked things off and we followed that up with the 4 tracker Destiny ep also in 92 where we collaborated with Dj's Tango and Fallout this was the first release on our own label.After this tracks like Can I dream,Intruder,and a project with Coventry's Distortion crew came about. We also had Dj Doc Scott on the label when he remixed Can i dream which came out on the Never trust your fantasies ep.We had 8 releases all in all on our label and also featured Coventry's FBD and Vext aka Watton G.We also had several releases on The Moving Shadow label Northern Lights on the 2on1 Series with Foul play on the flipside,So this is love,Northern lights remix & let love shine through which was played on radio 1 by Pete Tong & we did a remix for Cloud 9. We also did a track called everybody which came out on a 10 with Omni trio's remix of So this is love.We also performred at many raves as a P.A accompanied by MC Hifi including The Eclipse, Amnesia House,The Edge,Quest,Pandamonium,Dance Trance,Klub Kinetic,Fibre Optic,New Age and more.Unfortunatly parted ways in 96 on not very good terms,although we do speak now and meet up occasionally for a pint.Anyway still a big fan of the oldskool choonz not involved with the music now other than listening to it although i have just bought some decks again and i am getting back in the groove.I work for myself as a Bricklayer building houses and anything out of bricks.I am a mad Coventry city fan attend most home games and go away on occasions,and i love my kids to bits even though they drive me mad sometimes.
