Outstanding Records/Productions Oldskool

Outstanding Records also known as Outstanding Productions was formed by Essence of Aura.They were based in Coventry in the early 90's in the run down premises of the old Rolls royce factory at parkside.The label had 8 releases all in all and featured artists.Essence of Aura,Tango & Fallout,Doc Scott,Original Substitute,FBD, Vext, Watton G,MC Hifi & Distortion Crew.The label was purely dedicated to Underground sounds hardcore progressing through to Jungle Techno & was 1 of the pioneering labels for what is known as drum n bass today.Essence of Aura also released tunes on the legendary label Moving Shadow between 94-96.The label dispanded when Essence of Aura broke up in 1996. This page is dedicated to the artists and friends of our label aswell as the Dj's that supported the tunes released on the label,from the very special days of the oldskool era in hardcore,jungle and drum n bass.It is also an opportunity for anyone interested in the history and music of the oldskool.Everyone is welcome.Raving was always based on respect that was the foundation that the scene grew from and is the basis for a decent world in any circumstances.So if you are a respectful person please feel free to request friendship as we welcome everyone with this outlook on life .
