About Me

Streetbeats was formed in 1994 as a platform for early Drum and Bass pioneers; Photek, Source Direct and Peshay, and has maintained its underground status throughout the years. Streetbeats has had 37 releases to date including tracks by live electronica outfit Ultra Violet, Paradox, Blue and RaserBlade to mention but a few.The last six releases on Streetbeats have all been received to much critical acclaim and all have achieved a single of the month accolade in various dance magazines including Wax, Knowledge, and DJ magazine. The last release on Streetbeats (SB25 EP) features the mighty Drum and Bass legend "Paradox" together with "Fracture and Neptune" and in addition two brand new tracks lifted from Ultra-Violets debut album..Streetbeats have had many different projects all under the umbrella of Streetbeats including the successful online music forum “Subvert Central " as well as the dynamic Drum and Bass labels Pi (3.14) recordings, UV (records) and also Noir recordings.
