About Me

The Center of Mathematics Education for Natives (COMEN) is an interdisciplinary, multi-university consortium focused on the research and practice of the learning and teaching of mathematics (for social justice and cultural revival) for and with Native students in the United States and the entire Western Hemisphere. Two of its focus is to raise awareness of the great mathematical contributions from the various Native peoples in the Western Hemisphere and to help students in general with math problems ranging from basic math to advanced calculus; and as well with physics and chemistry. Two subjects that rely heavily on math. COMEN brings together experts in mathematics education, mathematics, language, and culture to collaboratively work on improving the mathematics education for Native students. COMEN aims to understand the interplay of mathematics education and the unique language, cultural, social and political issues that affect Native communities. COMEN’s holistic approach involves the various interested parties in the education of children: parents, school administrators, and teachers. COMEN will be relevant not only to Natives but also to other groups of linguistically and culturally diverse students through the development of theory and practice for how to turn language and cultural diversity into educational assets for the mathematics education.

My Interests

Math, Physics,Cosmology, Black Holes, String Theory, M Theory, Quantum Mechanics, biophysics, Theory of Relativity, The Universal Theory, Gravity, The Origin of The Universe,

I'd like to meet:

Anyone having difficulty with basic math to advance calculus(Vectors,Linear Algebra, Elements of Complex Variables, Real Analysis of One Variable, Real Analysis of Several Variables, Abstract Algebra, Differential Equations, etc.) Of course we do physics, chemistry, and molecular biology/biochemistry too. Please email us your questions and don't be afraid to leave comments. We speak, write, and read various Native languages and spanish too. The oppressors and the oppressed throughout the Western Hemisphere (Turle Rock) and the world, so that power relations can be balanced, and the process of living can be redefined as a process of learning and love.
