About Me

The Scene was organized in May of 2007 by music enthusiasts and members of the local band Letters to Apollo, Andrew Axelrod, Shaya Jalali, and Alex Edwards. After falling in love with the Tucson music scene, the three musicians decided they wanted to get involved and help the scene continue to grow. Our goal is to connect local bands with potential fans while delivering show dates, local music, news, interviews, and reviews. And no, we don't make any money off of this, its for the love of the music. If you are a musician looking to have your band promoted, please view the blog for information on how to go about it.
