[email protected]Who are Tim, Katie and Travis?Travis- You can call me "ICE". I have been in the music scene for about 5 years. I graduated from the Conservatory Of Recording Arts and went to Los Angeles to work in The Underdogs production studio (Whitney Houston, Omarion, Luke and Q, Justin Timberlake, etc. etc). From there I was hired by Midas Records to run sound on tour for one of their artists. By the end of the 9 month tour I was the tour manager. Leaving the label to come back to my family I have promoted, booked, ran front of house, and managed artists in Tucson. Concentrating more on Video Production now Ive been making music videos, montages, and commercial video. Tim- has been involved in the local Arizona music scene since the age of 16, first holding large house parties that hosted the likes of Alex Reez and Phat Pat as DJs.
That shortly grew to owning his own Rave Production PIMP company - NightDance Productions. With NightDance Productions he put together over 25 raves which ranged in talent from the local bedroom DJ to nationally acclaimed talent such as Pollywog, Cosmic Boy, Nakid Slice, Decibolic and DJ Elijah.
Since then he has done promotions for Lucky Boys Confusion in Boston and has brought ND Promotions back to the table, doing shows with such talent as The Phunk Junkeez, Machina, Army of Freshmen, Strength Behind Tears, B.I.T.E. , PH8, Concrete Understanding, Skitn, Mission G and 7 Days of May to name a few.
Also, he is no stranger to band management as he currently represents WORM & formally represented Merchants After All and Alexander David.
Recently he hosted and judged the Acoustic Battle of the Bands @ The Keys as well as judged the Arizona Daily Star High School Battle of the Bands . He also does booking for Skirts,The Rock & O’Malleys. He has (past and currently) also worked with The Hut, Game Day Bar and Grill, 12 Tribes, The Keys, Dry River and Club Congress.
Katie Otherwise known as the Voice of Reason. Katie has lived in Tucson all 25 years of her life and really enjoys the local scene here in town. Some of her favorite local acts are Days Unfold, Luca, Haley Jane, The Wyatts, Leila Lopez, Joshua Butcher and the Melancholy, the Diversion Program just to name a few. She has been with the Big word since 2006. She has hosted the 2006 Acoustic Battle of Bands as well as various other concerts. She loves meeting all the amazing people and musicians that Tucson has to offer. If you see her out on the town tell her hi she does not bite.
