About Me

Dubbed as the one and only soul-soothing funky reggae blues party in America, Triple Double Band brings together an eclectic collection of styles and musicians that dazzle audiences with their highly energetic live performances. Playing in Tucson together as a power trio since 2003, Trip Dub has reinforced their sound by adding a keyboard, a saxophone and trumpet.
Triple Double Band began as a dream over twelve years ago when brothers Jimi and Tom Cracovaner began to play music with an acoustic guitar, a snare drum and a wide array of laundry baskets. Over the years music turned from a hobby into an obsession, and Trip Dub’s second album, Five Twenty, is a reflection of their raw and undisputed intense passion for music.
"Triple Double Band's second album, Five Twenty (Fire City), is indeed a pleasing merger of reggae and blues with a feel-good flair."
-- Tucson Weekly
"But rest assured that the six of them don't just stand on stage and try to look cool; they don't need to. Their live shows are a testament to the pride they take in their music."
-- Arizona Daily Wildcat
"Tucson's Triple Double Band creates sunny-day, reggae-tinged rock."
