Animal, Ringo Starr, Dave Grohl, Earl Palmer..............................
Like most people, I love Beatles/Stones/Zeppelin. Don't trust anyone who doesn't. I listen to a lot of jazz, blues, classic country, and world music at home and on the road.If I am listening to rock music, it's probably dated as I have not heard many bands recently that I really like. WITH THE EXCEPTION of the local Tucson band LUCA and Portland's NORFOLK & WESTERN! (They sound like a version of Grandaddy that isn't weak.) Both of these bands are cool! Generally speaking though, the "indie rock" thing is not very "indie" or good right now. Turn off your radio, then smash it.I have an iPod and that has changed my worldview. VIVA la revolucion digital. (I still love the sound of my old LPs though!)
The last movie I saw in theatres was "Flushed Away". Highly recommended for 16 month olds. Nicholas loved it!
