The biggest musical (vocal) influences of my early years were Don Reid and Jeff Lynne. My favorite drummer growing up was Bev Bevan. He's still up there on my fav list but I have come to appreciate many other talented artists, ie. Neil Peart, Steve Smith and others too numerous to mention in this space. One of my favorite guitarists which I had the pleasure to meet in Nov. 2006, Al Pitrelli. The guy just knows how to rock it!
