Out Of The Blue

I am here for Friends

About Me

.. ELO rocks, now and forever. This is Oreon, your friend and music lover. I saw ELO in Cincinnati in 1981, been into their music since the roarin' 70s. No other band has accomplished a mix of rock and classical music like Jeff Lynne and company. At their peak in the late 1970s, they had a good run of hits, and their live shows packed enough lights, lasers and dry ice to give KISS a run for their money! So they've been an inspiration to me not only as a lighting designer, but their music has found a place in my soul that's hard to describe. Their run of albums from "Eldorado" in 1974, "Face The Music" in 1975, followed by "New World Record" the next year and "Out Of The Blue" in 1977 was incandescent; hits like "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", "Strange Magic, "Telephone Line", "Livin' Thing", "Turn To Stone", "Sweet Talkin'Woman", "Mr. Blue Sky" and others gave FM radio a heyday, and listeners a break from the Bee Gees!

My Interests

No excuse not to induct Electric Light Orchestra into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, toot sweet! They belong there, and it would be great to see them go in live on TV, maybe even play a set afte...
