Alex "Midnight" Moschini was born in Montecatini Terme (Italy) in the beautiful Tuscany on February 2nd 1969 (Aquarius). He begins to play bass guitar at the age of 16 in 1985. In 1986 he forms his first band: G.L.A.S. (still exisxting today) with which he will record 1 Ep ("Audax Vincit" today very rare record), 1 cd compilation ("R.A.U.S.?" presenting the song "Heartbeat city") and 3 demos (The last one "Eighteen" published in 2005). The genre played by the band is AOR/Class Metal as we are in the second half on the 80s and the most important music influences are Dokken, Ratt, Kiss and so on. G.L.A.S. play until 1993 then they split up, the first of several split up until 2004, year of the renaissance of the band. During the period between 1986 and 1988 Alex plays also with the country pop band Last Trip To Tulsa that in the future will change his name into Ontario and will record 2 cds, one of them for a Swiss label. In 1994 he form the hardrock band Charisma together with the drummer Matteo Panichi and the guitar player Lorenzo Tanini (London Underground, Fool's Moon), but after the recording of a very good 2 tracks demo with Italian lyrics the band split up. After that Alex joins the line-up of H.A.R.E.M., street metal band leaded by the singer/keyboarder Freddy Delirio (Death SS) recording the second demo titled "H.A.R.E.M. 2". In 1996 Alex decide to end the H.A.R.E.M. experience as he wants to improve his skill on the bass guitar changing genre. So in this period he plays with a 70s R&B band and makes some auditions for pop/rock bands in his area and he takes several lessons with the maestro bass player Federico Gori in Pistoia. In 2002 Alex joins the line up of the Italian pop cover band AutMinRich and the band publishes a 6 tracks demo including 4 covers and 2 originals, music and lyrics written by Alex that receive very good reaction by the press and webzines. In 2004 Alex leaves the AutMinRich project too to give life to his current 2 projects: the swing/jazz band Quartetto Bastrelli (Under the name of Alessandro Bastrelli) and the reunion of G.L.A.S. .
