Band Members: I am a musician. A combination of HipHop vs Pop tied together with the smoothness of lounge, nu-jazz and some funky house.
My music sometimes has an early 90's flavor, Other times I will just shock you and come out with something nothing like the last. I enjoy my comfort zone :) but I also like trying on a style I never thought I'd wear, it helps me grow and learn new things.
Music for me is the highest form of expression, even if the song i write has "noting to do with my life" at that point in time, you will hear who I am in some angle of the song. Maybe it's in the chord progression rather than the lyrics - But trust me it's there. It might also be that I have put someone through the exact thing I'm writting about but i'm singing it from there point of view.
I'm inspired by artists such as Aaliyah, Missy, Timbaland, Destiny's Child, Angie Stone & MJB. I grew up surrounded by musicians so the urge to create music was hard to avoid. Writing, singing and learning how to put different beats together was fun and frustrating, but quite a feeling. I started composing my own music at the age of 13 as a result of being bored with my life.
I finished my first home made album 'All Nite Long' at age of 18. It is a collection of my personality . The lyrics reflect the emotional rollercoaster of a woman growing up.
I'm currently working on a new sound and branching out by working with other artists. It's a more matured sound, sometimes sexy but most of all, it's just real...
