The hardrock project G.L.A.S. starts in the summer of 1985 when the bass player Alex "Midnight" Moschini meets the drummer Sergio Leonetti. Few weeks later the singer/guitar player Massimo Cappelli joins the band. The trio begins to compose and arrange their songs but something is missing in the sound that seems a little bit empty so in the beginning of 1986 the three musicians decide to add an element. The guitar player Alessandro Innocenti, introduced to Sergio by a common friend, is the right person. As a quartet the band, after 1 month of sessions, records an 8-tracks demo titled "Speak of the heart" (1987) that is been broadcasted by many local radios and permit them to play alive everywhere in their area. In the beginning of 1988 the band publish the EP "Audax Vincit", a labour of love recorded with the help of the singer Pino Salomone. The reaction of the metal press is positive and the record is reviewed on the main English heavy metal magazine Kerrang! The genre proposed in the record is A.O.R./FM hardrock. Today the record is valued around Euros 50,00 among the record collectors. At the end of 1988 Massimo Cappelli leaves the band. The substitute is the guitar player Lorenzo Tanini (London Underground, Fool's Moon) and for the first time a pure singer joins the band: his name is Laurilio Ciofi. In September of 1989 the band publishes the 5-tracks demo "Made in Italy" that receives many positive reviews everywhere in Italy and in Europe. Thanks to the high quality of the demo songs the band obtain a contract with the Agency/Label Musical Box Promotion owned by Klaus Byron, the director of the most important Italian heavy metal magazine Flash Europa. The good promotion done by the agency permit to the band to take part at one of the most important Italian Heavy Metal cd compilation: "R.A.U.S.?" (1991). The song "Heartbeat city" is the chosen one. After the recording either the singer Laurilio Ciofi or the lead guitars player Alessandro Innocenti and the drummer Sergio Leonetti. leave the band. The substitutes are Fabio Nocchi on the vocals, Andrea Roventini (Steve Rogers Band, Ricky Portera, Zucchero) and for the first time a keyboarder joins the band: Freddy Delirio (Death SS, H.A.R.E.M.). This line up don't record any trace but plays alive everywhere joining the 3rd place at the contest "On the rock" (1992) and a good position at Chianciano Rock (1992), but in 1993 suddenly the band split-up. During the years the band comes back together for some live acts but only in particular occasions. Then in 2004 Alex "Midnight" Moschini decide to rebuild the band. The new line-up is Alex "Midnight" Moschini (Vocals, bass guitar), Massimo Cappelli (Guitars) Alessio Viani (Guitars - ex H.A.R.E.M.) and Sergio Leonetti (Drums). The fruit of this reunion is the cd "Eighteen", celebration of the band's 18 years of life. The reaction of the press is very good but in the beginning of 2006 Massimo Cappelli and Sergio Leonetti leave the band again, and after 3 months Alessio Viani too. Alex "Midnight" Moschini, left alone doesn't give up and in the beginning of 2007 finds 3 very good musicians to give life again to the G.L.A.S. project. The current line up is: Samuele Bonardi (Vocals), Alex "Midnight" Moschini (Bass guitar), Thomas Bottaini (Guitars), Fabrizio Tribolini (Drums). And the adventure goes on....
