He started classical studies in 1985 obtaining a Double Bass Diploma at the L. D' Annunzio Concervatory of Music in Pescara and a Diploma in Jazz music at the L. Refice Conservatory in Frosinone.
Since 1999 he has been teaching arrangement and directing the Big Band at the "In-Jazz" Summer Clynics in Arcevia.
He currently teaches Bass Technique and directs small Jazz Ensembles at the Licinio Refice conservatory of Music, Frosinone.
In 1999 he formed the "Walk In Progress ensemble" comprising ten of the best Jazz musicians in Rome elaborating his own original compositions and arrangements. This ensemble played in many Jazz Clubs and Festivals in Italy.
He has played with many important musicians including Gerardo Iacoucci, Enrico Pieranunzi, Maurizio Giammarco, Massimo Urbani, Paolo Fresu, Ettore Fioravanti, Riccardo Fassi, Antonello Salis, Mike Melillo, Dusko Gojkovic, Etta Cameron, Donald Harrison, Eddie Wied, John Ramsay, Bob Gullotti, Idris Muhammad, Gary Bartz, George Garzone, Gary Smulyan, Bryan Carrott, Lee Konitz, , Heddie Henderson, Mike Goodrick, Steve Lacy, Rick Margitza, Alex Sipiagin.
