About Me


Originally from Penicuik in Scotland, I travelled Europe taking photos for friends, lived for a while in Lincolnshire in England before moving to France for three years. I'm back living in Scotland with my beautiful fiancé Jane.

I work as a photographer, and am the author of a few publications. I also sing, and began singing at the age of 17 in Edinburgh with a band we called The Booke of Urizen, before joining Starless and then touring as a solo singer/songwriter, then with Diaboli in England where I was also chief lighting engineer with my own stage rig and PA. In my photography, although I cover portraits, gothic weddings and photographic art, I like to concentrate on music promo and live music shoots.

Right, about me... So, I'm exceedingly happy in a relationship with the most special girl in the entire world. This was accomplished in three stages. as follows;
1. steal her band.
2. steal her heart.
3. sacrifice my all to keep her happy. So, here we are.

What else? oh, yeah, I have written a couple of books. Janey and I are currently working on a website which will allow you lot to keep us in beer tokens by buying our books because, as i've recently realised, my girl is as literate as I am, as empathic and probably more intelligent ;)
Anyways, wasn't this supposed to be a spiel about me? well, I'm blind with love, as you'd understand if you got to know her, so you will all have to make do with all this soppy stuff, coz i'm no feared of it. lol. My pals ken me, and my good pals ken me too well :p

The last movie i seen at the pictures was Casino Royale and I thought it wis guid. but then again, I did gain a diploma in media studies when I studied my photography so I kind of watch movies with a different eye than I used tae, not too critical I enjoy all genres, but especially like horrors and low budget mindfuck S&M movies like Baise Moi et al
