Vantage Point

Pure unadulterated Heavy Metal!!

About Me

Vantage Point are a traditional Heavy Metal band, who are best seen in the live environment. Possessing all the elements loved in the metal genre, from the wailing vocals, to the shred-fest of the guitar solos, with melodic thumping bass lines powered along by double-kick drumming. The band put on a show of high entertainment, with all the posturing, pointing and foot on monitor shape throwing you could ever wish for in a band.Importantly though, Vantage Point have the songs to back up their live prowess. Covering all bases of the classic metal genre. Current release, Gripped By The Throat, has the thrash metal of the title track, Maiden-esque gallop of Gemma Gemini, along with the Deep Purple MK3 work out that is Sail On. With the anthmetic, Too Much Work, a hard rock track with a sentiment most people understand. This track was featured on the covermount CD of issue 23 of Fireworks magazine. The Live set also features an array of top quality material. From the Clint Eastwood inspired, High Plains Drifter, the Egyptian tale of Tutankhamen, high octane living in Motor Man, and perennial live favourites, Pleasure Slave and 24 Hour Breakdown.More are soon to follow with the band currently rehearsing up new songs in order to record the follow up to, Gripped.
