What Year Do You Belong In?
For those that are interested, the following pics are of the Capri Drive-In, circa 1975. This is the drive-in that I spent almost the first twenty years of my life at every Saturday night. God Bless my mom and dad for opening up this wonderful world to me. During the bad parts (and in some of these films what parts weren't bad?) my dad would always say, "Get down and cover your eyes!" I always peeked ,of course! In 1980, I turned 16 and got my driver license! I had, by this time, seen all of the cheerleader films, all of the beach films (and I'm not talking about Frankie & Annette!), all of the teachers, all of the nurses and all of the bad-ass prison babes. I had learned all about sex from the best! Was it any wonder that I lost my virginity in the back seat of my first car at the drive-in? I pity the kids that will not know what it was like, before the days of dvds, before the days of vhs, before the days of video games, to be able to escape to the drive-in and hang out with their friends. Those were the good old days! (God, did I really say that? I must be getting old!)
