About Me

Cristina Galbo is a Spanish actress, that started working since she was a child. Her first role was in the little classic "Del Rosa al Amarillo" (From Pink to Yellow)in 1963, when she was only 13. The movie had great success in Spain, so she continued to star in several films like "Aquella Joven de Blanco" (1965, Little Maiden in White) or "La Ciudad no es para Mi" (1965, City Life is not for Me). But her biggest success was yet to come. In 1969, she accepted the role in a horror movie directed by Narciso Ibañez Serrador, "La Residencia" (1969, The House that Screamed). The film allowed her to travel to Italy where she filmed several horror classics like "What Have you Done to Solange?" (1972), "The Killer Must Kill Again" (1975) or her most popular movie: "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" (1974). After that she continued to star in a few independent films, until she retired completely from the acting world in 1988. She's now a very succesful flamenco dancer, and teachs in the United States.Hope you like this tribute to one of the most talented and beautiful actresses to appear in European films.
