Al Mahabba ensemble, was founded in September 2003, with the purpose of research and attribution of classic Arabic music from Middle East but also from the arabic-speaking countries of Africa. Its repertory, includes classic songs from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria, many from which have been interpreted by great singers as Sabah Fakhri, Feirouz, Oum Koulthoum and others, as well as instrumental pieces of significant Arabian composers, as Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Farid El Atrash, Riyad Al Sounbati, Ibrahim Al Aryan and others.
Al Mahabba Ensemble, focuses in the classical-traditional style of interpretation, using acoustic instruments as the oud, the ney, the kanun, the cello and percussions selecting a repertoire that is representative of the classical era.
