About Me

These days it's almost impossible to distinguish between the main parties. All of them try to paint themselves green but all too often they seem to become a big grey blur. It can become almost impossible to tell the difference between them. Only one party has been consistent on green issues from day one. The Green Party is a real, electable alternative to the main parties. The fact that Labour, the Tories and the Lib Dems want to be like us just proves that we were right all along! But be in no doubt, the 'greening' the other parties is only skin deep. If you want a party who will take real action on climate change, with plans that have been thought through for years, not a short term scheme to grab headlines, the Green Party is the Party for you. But the Green Party doesn't only care about the environment. What other political party wants to help eliminate poverty at home and in Africa? Would Labour and the Conservatives promise not to waste money on nuclear weapons and war and spend that money on making our lives better? Have you ever heard the main parties talking about human rights or animal welfare? If these are the issues that you care about, and if you've had enough of policians who say one thing when they want you to vote for them and then do something completely different, you should support the Green Party. An honest alternative for real progress. For more information, news and views, visit the Green Party Website

Who are the Green Party?
The government wants to spend 76bn pounds on nuclear weapons, what should it really spend the money on?
More money for the NHS
More money for tackling poverty and AIDS in Africa
More money for public transport
More money to tackle climate change
All of the above
Actually, I think nuclear weapons are a really ace idea!
