Education is being marketised - we need to fight back. Education should be a right, not a privilege. The introduction and increase in fees in the UK is leading to university education only for the privileged rich kids. Everyone else goes without or gets into a no win situation of huge debt for the rest of their natural life.How big is your at student debt going to be when you leave college? Leave me your comments below estimating your debt level - I want to know!And sign my petition - since the launch in December 2006 of the no fees petition hundreds have signed and it's not just students - trade unionists have also signed the petition from Unison, CWU, USDAW, T&G and the UCU. Students all around the world have sent messages of solidarity to the campaign from India, the United States, the Netherlands and Mexico.

Build a mass campaign to defeat fees starting with local protests, meetings and demonstrations and democratically involving university and college students, the trade unions and everyone who stands for free education. For the NUS to organise and build support for a second national demonstration on a weekday
