Leeds College of Music, in the heart of Leeds, is a centre of musical excellence, with many very talented students. Courses available for study at LCM range from undergraduate degrees in Jazz, Classical, Popular Music and Music Production through to postgraduate courses, BTEC National Diplomas and a whole range of further education courses including Musical Theatre.
This myspace page has been set up by the Student Union of Leeds College of Music in order to showcase some of the huge talents attending our conservatoire and to allow our students to post their own music and events advertisements for everyone to see to increase the exposure they can receive.
We at LCMSU also use this site to make our students aware of college events due to take place - therefore if you are not a student at LCM please bare in mind that these events are more than likely open to our students only, unless otherwise stated. So please check out the talent of the LCM students, and send us a myspace email with details or visit us in the Student Union office if you are interested in having your bands music on our page or advertising a gig, anything goes ... music is all about diversity so don't be shy!!

Army Theme Pub Crawl
To open a fun Fresher’s week we are taking you on an army theme pub crawl to all the best student bars in Leeds! It is an army theme so get your combats and guns at the ready as we’re all dressing up!

Tuesday 11th September
Rockin’ it up at The Faversham
Come and dance the night away in one of the finest established music venues in Leeds, with all your new friends to hear some really great bands. We’ve got a funk, pop upbeat group who are third years from the college and another rock, pop/punk band who are signed with hopefully more to add!!

Cocktail Evening
This is a night of gorgeous cheap cocktails at Santiago followed by the famous Gatecrasher to dance the night away to some awesome music!

Pub Golf
The infamous pub golf! A chance to dress up in golfing gear, get yourself into groups with all your buddies and we’re taking you on another tour of the city to get hammered!

Friday 14th September
Hifi Gig
Another round of awesome bands at the Hifi club where loads of the LCM students hang out regularly. All of the bands playing at the Faversham and Hifi are on myspace so check them out! After the bands there is free entry to the club night, which in the Hifi is rockin’ every night!

The Wardrobe
One of the best bar/restaurants/clubs in Leeds and it’s right on your doorstep! We’ll be checking out the club downstairs for some yummy cocktails and a chance to boogie!

Raving it up at Revolution
Revolution are holding one the first, biggest parties in Leeds for all the university Fresher’s! People will be running around with vodka in water guns, there will be hummas everywhere, and we’ve got a section of Revolution for ourselves!
