About Me

MyGen Profile Generator
BIO:
The Anti-Depressants aim to break through into the common consciousness and bring their unique offering to the table. After 2 years of gigging at local venues we have played the likes of the ‘Breeze welcomes Northern Trax festival’ at Millennium Square, as support for ‘The View’. We have also supported ‘The Haggis Horns’, who have collaborated with the likes of Mark Ronson and Corinne Bailey Rae at this year’s Chapel Allerton Festival. We feel we are now poised to play larger and better promoted gigs at high profile venues around Leeds and elsewhere, in order to share our music with the widest possible audience.
Hailing from a variety of backgrounds and embracing a large number of influences, the Anti-Depressants combine a harder edged American sound with a gritty British realism, whilst providing hard hitting pop hooks, vocal harmonies and a varied rhythm section sure to keep all ears pricked up.
We are: Michael Tarbatt (Vocals and Bass Guitar), Chris Quick (Vocals and Guitar), Ben Preston (Guitar) and Chris Hood (Drums); four differing personalities instinctively drawn together to forge our talents into a collective end product that’s widely appealing yet distinctive.
