Influences: Been compared to The Kooks, Madness, Vampire Weekend, The Jam, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Born Ruffians, Dexys Midnight Runners
Sounds Like: Indie-pop, laced with a trace of Motown, served with a dash of ska, in a chilled glass of early 80's.
“A great band. Really, really talented musicians with a lot of heart and soul. Great for festivals."
Alan Raw, Raw Talent, BBC Radio Humberside
“Their set is littered with addictive pop songs. If you like Vampire Weekend – go check these lads out.“
Music Guru Online
“They look like little boys with oversized instruments but Kinch deliver a massive sound.â€
Pick-Up Nottingham
"Refreshingly different. Completely unlike all the other young bands around at the moment."
Yorkshire Music Collective
“Seriously catchy Leeds indie rockers -the new Madness!"
Total Guitar
"Tight as a gnat’s behind and more talented than a juggling otter."
Sandman Magazine
"Confident, accomplished and totally likeable in a geeky, I-wanna-get-them-drunk-and-watch-them-puke sort of way "
Music Guru Online
"Listening to Kinch is like going out and getting pissed, pulling the girl of your dreams, going back to your place, shagging her, falling asleep, waking up, opening the curtains to find that someone has built the Taj Mahal in your back garden and filled it up with chocolate sauce - it doesn't get much better than that really, does it?"
