About Me

I am a singer/songwriter/pianist, selective guitarist and producer. My passion is in writing and performing my own music. I studied for a BA in Popular Music at Leeds College Of Music.
In March 2007, I was noticed by BBC Radio 1 and Asian Network's DJ Bobby Friction who played my track "If" as a "Nu Blood" artist. Since then, Friction and The Asian Network have provided me with the kindest of opertunities and support including "Future Friction" and a session at The Maida Vale studios which was aired 10th Jan 2008 Listen back here- scroll to bottom of page . I have also recently become one of the 15 winners of Bright Young Things 2008 (a Leeds based local music talent competition - they provide a professional photoshoot, recording, gig and media interest!)
I have been performing regularly around Leeds with my band "NeetaMusic" for just over a year now. This is my 8 piece ensemble which I write and arrange the music for to support my songwriting material. We have performed at the likes of the Maida Vale studios and were considered to play BBC Electric Proms 2007. As of February 2008 I will also be performing acoustically with a guitarist as well as playing in other ensembles as a keyboardist/vocalist
I'm currently in the process of recording lots of my material with my good friend and producer Ryan Leathem that could possibly take shape in the form of an album but I am incredibly perfectionist so we will have to see how that pans out...
If you have any inquiries please contact me at [email protected] or through myspace.
Thank you for checking me out and I hope you enjoy the music, please take the time to check out the fantastic musicians in my top friends, some of which play and have played in NeetaMusic.
Besides music my hobbies include trying to fit myself into small gaps such as cupboards, fridges and tumble dryers.
Enjoy listening xxx
