So what's my music policy?

Well, I love and write about all genres and styles of music, as and when I feel like it. The only common thread is that I believe music should be entertaining, solid, committed, melodic and worked, yet natural, clever and always beautifulll …

My Own Musical Background
is all over the place.
Since my quick and efficient birth, I've been the headteacher of a small brass bands training department and been in elastic and string bands. I've produced electronic music, from the hugely rawkus and nasty to the quietest, most pleasantest peacetime you can imagine. I've listened to hundreds of hours of multi instrument practice, and many more records. I've learnt music theory and organised nightclub and pub nights...
However, like so many other earnest folk, none of my musical efforts have (thus far) allowed me to retire….
So, nowadays I don't produce much, except the odd novelty pop track and my monthly mix project CASA HASA GIOVANNA.....

My Written Background
is a touch more concise
After wearing myself out writing a series of books culminating in an excellent full length account of the life and times of nuclear power, I'm currently taking things easy, concentrating on writing shorter pieces and enjoying everything I do..

So, where's my writing at?? Well, right now, I'm focusing on online publishing and online publishing alone....
Yes boss, I have the irrational and rather optimistic belief that blogs and online content is the future of journalism, so to the opportunity cost of whoring myself around to mags, websites or papers, I'm throwing everything in my own space for now, and so far it's going very well indeed...

Yes boss, I now hire and fire! I convene meetings of steering committees!! I order office supplies and I BREAK FUCKING BALLS TO GET THE WHOLE FUCKING JOB DONE ON TIME!!!! At the time of writing, I have 10 full time members of staff
