About Me

Yes this is Number 2, "The Condemnation of Claymore Manor" By Gloria Kenmare Grant ISBN# 1-4241-7108-3 Scotland was just a place they talked about when asked about their ancestry. Now, both doctors, Ronald and Robert Claymore, of Claymore Clinic in Ardmore, Oklahoma were being called there by the Attorney of Claymore Manor. The telegram told them they were to come at once to Stirlingshire, Scotland to arrange for the internment of their dead cousin who had died. His death was the same as all the Claymore men before him, who had dared to set foot on Scotland soil, strange, horrible, and unexplainable. Ronald and Robert Claymore knew nothing of Manors and Lords and Ladies. Faced by a two hundred year old curse, they arrive on forbidden Scotland soil, to find answers to the strange and horrible death of the last of the Claymore’s of Scotland.

My Interests

GREAT NEWS MY NEW NOVEL "THE CONDEMNATION OF CLAYMORE MANOR" HAS BEEN RELEASED! ISBN#1-4241-7108-3 Gloria Kenmare Grant has always enjoyed writing, and became interested in the Civil War after researching her father’s family back to 1777. Nothing she found told about the trials the children of that era faced. She has also always been intrigued by people in comatose stages of life can they hear, see, smell and think? After much research, Gloria Kenmare Grant found that she could combine the two ideas into the story Can You Hear Me? This was her first Novel. Now she has released another called "The Condemnation of Claymore Manor" Check it out!!!Order on line at Publishamerica.com or Amazon.com. Ask Book store to Order. I'd like to meet:

PrefaceThe country of Scotland is always beautiful. Nevertheless, if you were asking for my own humble opinion, June would win as the most beautiful month in Scotland. As you traveled the countryside, the yellow wild flowers and the many blooms of the Rhododendron were everywhere. The large homes and the huge fields of sheep and cattle combined with the small towns all clumped in a tight small space make the visitors from America smile. It seems everyone enjoys living close, not spread out as we Yanks are so use to. It also seems that each little town always has either one of the large castle type homes or the ruins of a castle or abbey near by. Claymore Manor Estate was such a place, accessed by the narrow road that led up the hill, between the pastures with the rock walls separating them. At the top, you can see far down the valley. You can see the hundreds of sheep grazing in one pasture and the fat cattle in another. The small town includes the store, post office, two pubs, and a gift shop filled with handmade woolen products. Each house joins the other, and each one painted with pastel colors, blues, lilacs, yellow, and greens. It is just like a scene out of a movie, so it was breath taking at first. As with all of Scotland’s clans, the Claymore Clan had a dark history. The story went that all the Claymore men had always carried names that began with R, the most favorite being Robert. Through history, there had been nineteen Robert Claymores. The one thing that helped distinguish one from the other was that every one of them had the maiden name of his mother, as his middle name. There were also stories of the many ghosts that roamed the halls of the manor. Down in the village there were more stories of betrayals and curses... This is such a story."The Condemnation of Claymore Manor" Check it out!!!
