My Interests

Biting the heads off sheep. Playing Scrabble in phonetic Esperanto. Looking at boobies. Huffing Aussie Sprunch Spray. Drinking LOTS of Coffee. Perpetuating the myth that I am indeed the reincarnation of Bruce Lee. Not the actual martial arts star but a railroad worker from Colorado who died in 1847 with the same name. Bruce Tiberius Lee was eaten by the Donner Party as the first Chinese Take Out. I'll never forget.... I love Garlic Chicken and Egg Rolls though...

I'd like to meet:

Film makers, Zombie fans, Video artists, Editors, Technical Ninjas, Sushi platters, new media pioneers and recovering breakdancers.

Music:

Peeping Tom, Elvis Costello, Mike Patton, Falco!, Kool Keith, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Dr. Octagon, Styx back in the day, and a Shout out to my Homies, The Gun and Doll Show.

Movies:

Dawn of the dead, Casablanca, Magnolia, Night of the living dead, The double macguffen, Bring it on, What get's me hot, Clerks, Day of the dead, Evil dead films, Grease, Pennieless, Brawlin' Broads, Repo Man, Meshes of the afternoon, Superman 1 and 2.

Television:

I was there in front of the Television in 1981 to see the launch of MTV. I also watched it become crap in 1987. I love music videos as art. Too bad no one plays them anymore. I vehemently eschew "Must See TV". I cannot stand the poor writing and telegraphed humor of most sitcoms. Drama fares better in my opinion such as in the case of 24. Mostly I watch DVDs of shows to escape the commercials.

Books:

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. Todas Hacemas Caca by ???. Shogun by James Clavell. The Stand By Steven King. The Collected Works of Shakespeare. My Pet Goat. The Fifties by David Halberstam. 40 Yards To The Outhouse By I.P. Freely. Hello God It's Me, Solis

Heroes:

I admire Watson and Crick for chasing down the structure of DNA. J. Robert Oppenheimer for speaking out against the atomic bomb that he helped create. Mike Patton for pioneering new frontiers in music. Ernest Hemmingway for attempting to write what was beyond attainment. Shakespeare for recording the drama of the human condition. Socrates for running around Athens flat broke yet rich beyond measure. And last but not least, my father.
