About Me

MARLOWE- is a "firm believer in the existence of true love between women" and writes her newly released novel, The Other Side of Love, later released and repackaged as "WOMEN DON'T TELL" on behalf of all abused women. With her touching love story, Marlowe- stresses the values of peace and love and begs abusers to "stop the violence."
WOMEN DON'T TELL is revealed to readers through the reveries of an airline passenger, en route to New York from Chicago. Through Ella Whittington's memories, the story of an ill-fated love affair, which began at an inner-city high school, unfolds to strum readers' heartstrings.
When Ella, the Chicago high school principal, meets Angela Greene, the school's talented music teacher, an innocent gesture ignites their passion. Despite differences in ethnicity, age and background, the two fall deeply into love. They revel in their secret, but blissful affair, attending out-of-the-way functions and meeting in the dead of night. The author supplements the powerful storyline with colorful characters that come alive not only in the sexually charged scenes of passion, but also in the deeply emotional and touching moments.
When Angela's music agent offers the "big break" she's been waiting for, she tearfully takes it. Both women know it's a one-shot opportunity, but are devastated to lose one another. With her departure, Angela rises to stardom. Already desolate with the loss of her lover, Ella suffers yet another catastrophe. In the end, both women realize their love and need for the other has grown to dangerous heights and the only way to fall is down.
A story of loss, abuse, obsession, greed, devotion and even death, WOMEN DON'T TELL paints a portrait of feverish love and harrowing loss between two women who learn the truth of an old saying: "Tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all."
Though MARLOWE- has written numerous short stories and poems, The Other Side of Love now WOMEN DON'T TELL, is her first published novel. She is a native of Muskogee, Okla., and now resides with her family in California. Marlowe- is currently working on several other novels with her soon to be released entitled "EX".
