I love playing bitches. There's a lot of bitch in every woman - a lot in every man

About Me

..JOIN MY GROUP!:I was born Lucille Fay LeSueur on March 23, 1904 in San Antonio, Texas. I was the product of a broken home before I was born in that my parents already separated before I was born. My Mother wasn't good at keeping husbands, and married three times. This effected me throughout life. I was fond of dance and had entered several dance contests. I wanted a career in show business because it was much more glamorous than the odd jobs I was working. One dance contest led me to be in a Chorus Line. Before long, I was dancing in big cities of the Mid West and along the Atlantic Coast. After almost two years of dancing, I decided to take a chance, and pack my bags and moved to Los Angeles. I felt that movies might offer me a chance at fame and glory and I was determined to succeed. Not long after moving to California, I got my first role as a show girl in "Pretty Ladies" in 1925. Three other movies quickly followed. Throughout 1927 and the first part of 1928 I was given menial roles. That ended with the role of Diana Medford in "Our Dancing Daughters". Even though I was successful in "Our Dancing Daughters", I was worried about how I would do in the transition from silent films to "talkies". Many stars of that era suddenly worried about their future in Hollywood. With silent pictures, it didn't matter what kind of voice you had, but with sound pictures it made a tremendous difference. While some stars saw their career fading, my strong voice enabled me to make the transition. My first "talkie" was "Untamed". As I entered into the 1930's, I became one of the top stars at MGM. Films such as "Grand Hotel", "Sadie McKee", "No More Ladies", and "Love on the Run" kept movie patrons and film executives happy. By the time the 1940's came around, I was beginning to notice that I was no longer getting the winning roles that she used to get. There were new stars and the public wanted to see them. I left MGM and went to rival Warner Brother Studios where I landed the role of a lifetime. In 1945, I landed the lead role in "Mildred Pierce", a movie about a housewife who becomes a successful business woman to try and raise her daughters after her husband leaves her. The movie landed me my first and only Best Actress Oscar. The following year I appeared in "Humoresque" with John Garfield. In 1947, I got the role of Louise Graham in Possessed. Again I was nominated for an Oscar, but lost it to Loretta Young for "The Farmer's Daughter." My career became less successful as the years went by and I wasn't getting the kinds of roles that I had come to depend on. Besides for My role in "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?" In 1974, I saw a picture of myself and was horrified so I decided to retire. I devoted the rest of my life to Christian Science. I died May 10, 1977 in New York City. My adopted children inherited little from my two million dollar estate. Cindy and Cathy each inherited $77,500. Christina and Christopher did not inherit anything for "reasons best known to them". Especially Christina I knew she would continue to humiliate me even after my death. But these days I am beautiful as ever and living the grand life just as I was meant to.(GET READY, WHEN I SHOOT YOU BLOW....BANG..BANG!I have made about 100 films, I'm not saying they were all gems, but I worked very hard non stop to get my place in show biz! My Interests

Being an actress was my life. I lived for taking a breath or shedding a tear in front of the camera. And of course I was always enamored by my wonderful friends in showbiz. I also loved my beauty regiments and exercise. Though there were obstacles I loved being a mother. I tried my best to makes those kids happy, but now they're snobbish little cliques, they are and you may have it. But at least I can look back on the good times. Queen Bee! My children: Christopher, Christina, Cathy and Cindy Crawford Hold still Christina!
This is a lovely portrait of me done by my friend Chris from a photo of mine. He does lovely work of some beautiful men and some others things as well. You can find him in my top friends.

I'd like to meet:

My goodness I've met so many wonderful people already, but one thing I've always been, is utterly devoted to my fans. If I could spend eternity taking the time to getting to know all of my darling fans I would be in complete and total ecstasy!

Heroes:

My Hero is my best friend, William Haines. He was an out and proud homosexual who I starred with in silent film. Now, in the 20's and decades after for that matter you did not tell people you were gay. His love for men cost him his career, but I admire him for being so brave.
