About Me

Happily married 21 years. We have raised 2 fine young men, although at times I'm not sure I'd claim them. We have one that has flown the nest and he is in the National Guards as well as enjoying his job as a furniture salesman. Then there's the other one, he just graduated high school this year and hasn't decided what he wants to do. I have one cat and two dogs. Talk about spoiled, I don't know who's spoiled more, my kids, my hubby or my pets. My mom and husband both want to come back as one of my pets.
I play handbells with a church group of wonderful ladies, this is a true blessing in my life and brings me much joy and happiness.
.. I am a happy homemaker and enjoy spending time online. I play games online a lot these days. Afterall you can only clean house so much before that gets old, I think 20 years is a good round number.
I love children, animals and I love the elderly, I think they are so mistreated in our society today.
I don't mind fun, funny and friendly comments, but I see enough ads when I'm online. All comments are approved before posting.

I'd like to meet:

Honest people, who enjoy life (freaks need not reply) and just enjoy talking and friendship.

Music:

My favorites tend to lean towards the classics most of the time. I own a little of everything from Classical to rap. My moods vary and therefore so do my listening habits. I go through phases of what I want to listen to.

Movies:

WELCOME TO REEL CLASSICS THEATRE

Be sure to catch a show before you go.
Today's Features - Mystery & Horror

Vincent Price

Perry Mason

Alfred Hitchcock

Sherlock Holmes - Jeremy Brett

Hercule Poirot

Rod Serling - The Twilight Zone

Peter Lorre

Lon Chaney

Lon Chaney Jr.

Boris Karloff - Bela Lugosi

I wait for movies to come out on directv. I wish they had a theater that played nothing but classics around here. I would feel it was worth spending my money on then.

Television:

Classics are definitely my favorites. By classics I mean pre-70's. I enjoy watching some of the shows today. I enjoy mysteries, forensics shows, comedies and even horror shows. I do prefer the classics though.

Books:

Not a reader, loved reading to my kids when they were younger but I wait for the movie to come out on directv. When I do read I love short stories otherwise I never finish them. Edgar Allan Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are among my favorites.

Heroes:

True heroes are not your overpaid athletes, movie stars, television stars or music stars (there are some exceptions of course). True heroes are our ordinary citizens, police, firefighters, medics, doctors, nurses and so many more that go by unnoticed or unrecognized. True heroes are those who give of themselves without expectations of anything in return, not even recognition.
