Peggy Catwright(1912-2001) Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.Was the original leading lady in the 'Our Gang' series (1922-1944). She appeared in the first six shorts: Our Gang (1922) (both the original and re-shot versions), Fire Fighters (1922), Young Sherlocks (1922), One Terrible Day (1922), and A Quiet Street (1922).Appeared at the 12th International Sons of the Desert/Way Out West Convention in 2000, called 'See-Tac 2000', shortly before she died. It was held in Seattle, not far from her birthplace of Vancouver, B.C. It was her first (and only) appearance the the convention, and she discussed her work in the 'Our Gang' series. She married William Walker
Mary Kornman(1915-1973) was born on December 27 1915 Idaho stared acting at age five. She made her "name" as the cute, spunky little girl in the 1920s' "Our Gang" shorts, and was often paired with Mickey Daniels. The two returned to the screen as a pair again several years after leaving the "Rascals" series with a new series of comedy shorts for Hal Roach called "The Boy Friends" (in 1932 she made a cameo appearance, along with Daniels, in a Little Rascals short, Fish Hooky (1933), as the gang's teacher!). The "Boy Friends" series lasted three years, and after that Mary struck out on her own, but couldn't manage much beyond "B" pictures. She left the business in 1940, and died in 1973 of cancer
Ivadell Carter born Jan.7,1914.She was in four our gang comedies all them silents and she was the daughter of the Gang's actual schoolteacher at the studio.She was listed as Wadell Carter
Jannie Hoskins born in March 19 1923 Los Angeles CA appeared in 23 our gang comedies first Stage Fright(1923) and last Teacher's Beau(1935)often called Mango sister of Allen 'Farina' Hoskins died January 1996
(1924-1927) (archive footage) Peggy Ahearn was born on 9 March 1917, Douglas, Arizona she appeared on 8 slient shorts her sister is child actress Lassie Lou Ahern and currently still alive and living in an exclusive section of Los Angeles.
Mildred Kornman born on July 10 1925 California appeared in 22 our gang comedies first short was Thundering Fleas(1926) last short Our Gang Follies of 1936 younger sister of Mary Kornman and daughter of Eugene Kornman After leaving acting, became a successful fashion model under the name of Ricki Van Dusen.Currently still alive
Dorothy DeBorba nickname Echo(1925- ) currently still alive appeared in(1930-1933)28 our gang shorts she stared at the age of 5 her first short was pups is pups(1930)
(1929) (archive footage) Jean was born on 23 August 1922, Santa Monica appeared in 34 gang shorts most of them where slient shorts currently still alive
(1923-2003) (1929-1931) (archive footage) Mary Ann was born on 14 January 1923, Los Angeles died 17 December 2003, California, of a heart attack She was one of the earliest child stars of the twenties and thirties. Although she was better known as one of the child performers from the famed "Our Gang" comedies that are still popular today, Mary Ann began her film career at the age of four in 1927's SMITH'S PONY. Although she didn't make any full length motion pictures during 1928, Mary Ann more than made up for it the following year when she appeared in six major pictures such as BOUNCING BABIES and LAZY DAYS. After eight films in 1930 and six in 1931, Mary Ann left the film world after LITTLE DADDY at the age of eight. She did resurface in 1950 as Rosie Kettle in MA AND PA KETTLE GO TO TOWN.
(1931) (archive footage) Shirley was born on 25 March 1926, Seattle, Washington won a baby contest in Seattle when she was about 1-1/2 and her mother relocated the entire family to Hollywood, as she was sure she had a child star. Her first movie was How's My Baby? (1930) with Monte Collins and T. Roy Barnes. Shortly after that she went on an interview at the Hal Roach studio and became a part of the "Our Gang" series. She left the Gang to go to Darmour Studios to play Tomboy Tailor with Mickey Rooney and Billy Barty. In subsequent years she worked in more than 100 movies, mostly musicals.currently still alive

(1932-1934) (archive footage) Jacqueline Taylor was born on 29 June 1926, Compton, California,Often played the "worried sister" or "girlfriend" of one of the boys. Darla Hood was her replacement in 1936.She appeared in 5 our gang comedies today she is Dr. Hope Taylor Fries D.D president of the nondenominational Academy of Infinite Metaphysics. She also worked through the years as a Southern California television personality and has been the host of an extremely popular Little Rascals program syndicated out of San Diego.She was a colleague of Johnny Downs at a San Diego television station in the 1950's.Currently still alive
(1931-1979) (1935-1938) (archive footage) Darla born on 8 November 1931, Leedey, Oklahoma, USA died 13 June 1979, Hollywood, California, USA. (acute hepatitis) Dark-haired cutie Darla Hood began her association with the motley "Our Gang" group at the tender age of 4. Born in Oklahoma in 1931, her father was a banker and her mother prodded Darla's innate musical talents with singing and dancing lessons. Little Darla made an unplanned singing debut at the Edison Hotel in Times Square and the crowd roared in appreciation. A Hal Roach agent spotted her, tested her, and signed her to a seven-year pact at $75 a week.
Shirley Coates appeared in several our gang shorts all them talkies and she was by the name Mugsy.
Edith Fellows was born on May 20, 1923, in Boston, Massachusetts appeared in our gang shorts mostly as an extra.The in later years she appeared in other films.
Jackie White appeared in several our gang shorts mostly she was an extra.No Picture Lassie Lou Ahearn she did a couple of our gang shorts all of them silent and she was the smaller sister of Peggy Ahearn animated gifs
