For all of you film noir fans--finally on DVD!
This makes a great gift, too!

Thanks for stopping by, honey. There are two reasons why I'm in show business, and I'm standing on both of them. I'm a song and dance girl. I can act enough to get by. But that's the limit of my talents. I hope this page is okay. It's loud, it's cheap, it's gaudy. It's like everything I've ever done - I LOVE IT!

My Interests

I've been known to have a beverage or two and bet on a few horses. You're better off betting on a horse than betting on a man. A horse may not be able to hold you tight, but he doesn't wanna wander from the stable at night.

I'd like to meet:

You are Betty Grable
The ulitmate girl next door
You're the perfect girl for most guys
Pretty yet approachable. Beautiful yet real. What Famous Pinup Are You?

I'd like to meet each and every one of you, but not all at once! Crowds are a bit much for me. I am the furthest possible thing from what a star should be. I just once would like to feel up to going to a premiere and enjoying the bright lights. I would like to know how it is to yearn for a white mink coat and a diamond brooch--to put them on and then go, bow graciously, speak into the mic, and sign autographs. That is how a star should behave. If I tried it, my slip would show and I would run like a rabbit on seeing the crowd.

Music:

'I Can't Begin To Tell You' (With Harry James! I went under the name Ruth Haag so I wouldn't get in trouble with the studio! Ruth is my middle name, and Hagg is Harry's.)
"Dream Duo" James/Grable

Most of my songs are from my movies. Some of them can be found on the following CD's:

"Sweetheart of the Silver Screen"
"Pin-Up Girl" [there are a couple of these, one is a 2-CD release]
"Always the Ladys: Alice Faye, Betty Grable" [2-CD's with songs from movies. Jack Oakie is even in there! As well as John Payne, Carmen Miranda, June Havoc and so many others. These songs are taken right off the movies so they are exactly like you remember them...talking and all!]
"The More I See You"

Some of these CD's are hard to find...there are usually some on eBay.
