I have a wide ranging interest in film, literature and music ranging from James Bond, The Beatles and Monty Python to Shakespeare, Mozart and the Simpsons.
I enjoy history, used book stores, going for walks and bike rides. I enjoy reading, love movies and have a huge collection of books and DVDs. I also collect vintage movie posters from the 60s to the present.

Classic Hollywood & foreign films, silent films, animated, documentary and shorts from all genres and eras. I have too many to list, but I have a particular interest in the films of the 1960s; Cold War-espionage-thrillers; horror films made by Universal Studios in the 1930s, 40s and 50s and then re-invented by Hammer Films in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

I think the best films of all time were made between 1953-1983 - filmmaking entered a period of malaise after that which continues to this day. The two magazines I subscribe to, Cinema Retro and Video Watchdog, cover this period well.

I'm Cable Free - I cancelled cable TV in January of 2008 - I do like AMC, TCM, The History Channel, Fox News and a few others, but I can live without them until the cable companies offer ala-cart bundling of cable so we can choose to pay for the channels we want!
Most of my reading these days is non-fiction, history and film books, but I read and collect film, history & science-fiction.
I have a nice collection of Isaac Asimov first editions.
I also collect Ian Fleming and James Bond first editions.
