My Interests

Outdoor Activities & ExcursionsMAASAI BOMA EXCURSIONS Whether you visit by bicycle or by vehicle, a visit to a Maasai Boma (village) is an interesting experience. As you arrive at the Boma, excited children welcome you to this true ‘Maasai village’; the model of our luxury lodge theme. Our guides will interpret for you and the elders so that stories may be exchanged. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history and lifestyle of these Maasai. You may ask as many questions as you like and take photographs.MAASAI MARKET The Maasai Market is held every Thursday for Maasai marketers only and the 22nd of each month for marketers from other tribes. The market is situated along the min road from Makuyuni to Ngorongoro Crater. Whether visiting by bicycle or vehicle, a picnic lunch and drinking water can be arranged by your butler. At the market, you will see many villagers buying and selling a variety of goods including homeopathic remedies, local clothing and cereals. You may even taste the locally brewed Mbege, made from banana and grain.MTO WA MBU In addition to or instead of the Maasai Market, our guides can take you to the nearest township where over 120 different tribes are living. E Unoto Retreat can also arrange one of many cultural excursions that are available from Mto wa Mbu. These include a walk through the farms in the Rift Valley, climbing Balaa Hill, a visit to the local breweries or a picnic safari with the Maasai.NATURE WALKS Maasai guides escort our guests on a selection of walks, ranging from moderate to strenuous exertion that provide a wonderful natural experience in this secluded area of Tanzania.SCENIC FLIGHTS If you would like to view the beautiful Tanzanian countryside by air or fly to another destination for an outing, E Unoto Retreat can arrange flights for you and your companions.STARGAZING The magnificence of an African night sky is a wonder to behold. I'd like to meet:

YOU - Are you interested in visiting Africa? I have an idea if you are interested. We could create a "Fitness Safari" in which you are the tour leader. You advertise and collect around 25 to 50 people. Include your travel expenses and profit in their charges and bring them to our lodge. You will use our lodge as base. You conduct your guests' daily activities of climbing, cycling, cardio, swimming and even safari park visits. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Glenn Brock - Vice President www.maasaivillage.com
