Diesel truck grinding guitar sounds, pounding drums, supercharged bass and characteristic vocals are merged into the band called Massive Assault. A no-nonsense old school style death metal machine with the sound of the early nineties.
The group is well known for their overwhelming song material, impressive guitar sound, energetic live performance and musical & composing skills
Massive Assault undeniably have an ear for the classic death metal sound, but they bring it to a new level with newfound energetic freshness.
This Dutch band has been around since 2002. In it are (ex) members of God Dethroned , Autumn , Grindminded , Absorbed , Makiladoras , Descent To Hell , Hammer Of Justice , Miscreants , Doctor Scalpel & The Incisions , Schweinsteigør , Laffe Mietjes , Painbrouwer , My Great Devastator.......
Massive Assault have played shows with Sadus, God Dethroned, Pungent Stench, Gorefest, Darkane, The Black Dahlia Murder and The Red Chord to mention some. The show list is steadily growing longer and longer.
All recordings are done by guitarist Fredde , at Fredde's Dirty Bird Productions .
In the new line-up the band are working on new material for a full-length album. Most of it is already written and currently the songs are being fine-tuned. Expect more detuned guitar madness and sledgehammer drumrolls!
