TÅ¡chokkinen & Ramsay

Two Martins, two martinis and two ragged gentlemen

About Me

Ramsay met TÅ¡chokkinen at the Samettiklubi songwriters club, held monthly at Semifinal in Helsinki. They discovered that they shared an affinity for country songs, literate lyrics and Martin guitars. Thus the partnership was forged.

These two ragged gentlemen aim to bring you a set of well-crafted songs and some choice covers ranging from Guy Clark to the Grateful Dead. We play weddings, parties, anything... Even your funeral, buddy.

We haven't done hard time, but sometimes we feel like we have. We dig Johnny Cash's prison records. The vibe, you know... Violence and sorrow, with an undercurrent of pure unadulterated joy.

"Hard country. Music for crying."
